The Best Antibiotics used in reproductive diseases in dogs and cats

 

Four antibiotics are given below

1.Cefazolin

Dose and route

22 mg/kg both dogs and cats orally

2.Cefoxitin

Dose

30mg/kg for dogs and 22-35 mg/kg for cats, I/V route.

3.Erythromycin

Dose and routes

10-20 mg/kg both dogs and cats 12 hours intervals orally.

4.Amoxicillin+Clavulanic Acid

Dose and routes

12.5-20 mg/kg (8-12 hours intervals)  for dogs and 11-20 mg/kg for cats (8-24 hours intervals) orally.
